The spring Solstice is another name for the equinox . An equinox is the moment in time when the Sun stands directly above the equator and day and night are of approximately equal length.  The March equinox has long been celebrated as a time of rebirth in the Northern Hemisphere.

Bring your drums, your voice, your sense of fun as well as your prayers as we join together as one to honour the Great Spirit, Mother earth and ourselves as "we are all related".

Enter Mary Street and park at Day Care parking lot and follow across bridge and down to lower gazebo.

Coffee will be provided and a love donation collected to go towards the upkeep of Willow Park Ecological Centre.

Come on out to enjoy the beauty of Mother Earth at Willow Park on Friday March 22nd from 6:30-8:30 pm.. We will be drumming, singing and joining our prayers as one around a sacred fire..Dress warmly, this is an outdoor event but the fire will help to keep us warm :)
